The culture of Bangka People is much influenced by Islamic Culture,Malay Culture,and Chinese Culture.the culture is also reflected by custome and tradition of the people which is still practiced up until today.

1.Sepintu Sedulang
(Nganggung)
This ceremony is popularly called"nganggung". Each family brings a tray of food to a certain place,where each household delivers meal in a dulang (large rounded tray) to other household . The is a symbol of cooperativeness and togethernes,insociety, this ceremony,is also held at the marriage day, death day,religious holiday etc.
The cooperation spirit of Bangka Belitung people is quite strong and deeprooted,people will easily lend their hand to help when needed. This spirit is based on Sepintu Sedulang philosopy.

2.Rebo Kasan

This ceremony is commonly practiced by Bangka fisherman to express their thankfulness and blessing to the almighty God before going to sea..

3.Buang Jong
Traditional Ceremony (Upacara Tradisional Buang Jong)
Buang Jong Traditional Ceremony is still held in some village in Bangka Belitung .such as in Belinyu this ceremony is held to avoid bad thing and for the savety of the villege

4.Ceriak nerang

This ceremony is usually held after rice plant harvesting to express happiness and thankfulness to the almighty God for his blessing and prosperity given to the people.

5.Perang ketupat Ceremony (ketupat Fighting)
It's month by moslem. In Syakban month (Islamic Year) to welcome Ramadhan month

6.Barongsai

This Chinese art is also popular in Bangka Belitung Islands. It is held at full moon or other Chinese special moment of Chinese ethnic groups.

7.Belimau Bathing (Mandi Belimau)

Belimau Bathing is traditional ceremony of washing body with air tobat (repent water) .

8.Mass Wedding Ceremony (Upacara Kawin Massal)
Massive married traditional ceremony is held on Bangka Selatan after white papper harvest.
In Villages of Toboali Districts,this ceremony is very popular.One of custom remains of sriwijaya kingdom which can still be seen in Bangka Belitung people wedding ceremony.

Lesong Panjang Ceremony is held in Buluh Tumbang Village,Belitung. This ceremony is held to express their thank to God for the harvest.

15.Sijuk Traditional Ceremony (upacara adat sijuk)
This traditional Ceremony is held in certain time especially in religion holiday. The participant of this traditional ceremony are watered with flower water by the elder for getting goodness in Sijuk,Belitung.

16. Antu Bubu
Antu Bubu is a traditional ceremony which is held in East Belitung. This traditional ceremony held to show a Shaman's intensity in subjugating a ghost.
